I just made it to Cabbage Creek for a quick afternoon hunt. I wanted to pull the trail cam card at the buck block stand to see what is eating all my corn and decide if the stand is worth investing some time in. Well, it looks pretty good….there was a racked buck there at 9:30am yesterday and two racked bucks came by at night, along with a doe or two.

My suspicions were confirmed about a bear using there also. I bet Lacy would love to smell him! I couldn’t tell just how big he is but he looks pretty decent. I think he is sitting down eating corn in the picture. There was also a flock of turkey hens there also. They are super efficient at picking up corn and a flock can really put it away.

I am really torn on where to go in the morning now that I saw the buck in the daylight picture. I’ll have to sleep on it tonight and make a plan in the AM.

The odd color to the pictures is a result of low batteries. Man its a job keeping up with these cameras!
