Every time I watch this I just gotta' laugh!
I asked a friend of mine if he had some time to run a camera for me while I caped out a deer head for a video I wanted to post to my blog. He said no problem but apparently he is sensitive about knives and cutting around eyeballs! Who knew?
After a short rest on the floor, ol' Len was back in the saddle and we finished the video with out further breaks though I can't be sure just how much Len filmed with his eyes open.
I included a little of the footage from the actual hunt of the deer which you see in the caping section.

My Videos - Misc.
Here are some videos I have put together. They are all primarily hunting related but there are a few other misc. videos included. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them!

1. Bare Handed Catfishing, No Pole Required!
2. Camera Man passes out while filming a deer's head being caped!
3. Hunt for King Kong - A Huge Illinois 8pt
The footage is pretty poor but this is the largest bodied buck I have ever seen. I filmed this on our lease in illinois last november. We never saw him again. I got him to within 100 yds before he smelled me and ran back. Initally I thought he was running to the small buck that had just run some does off the hill to the east, but later I realized what had actually happened....he winded me. He was directly down wind at that point. Funny thing is I had deer walk by all sides of the stand, you even see a small 8pt walk past the big deer in the video which never smelled me. Naturally, out of the 13 deer I saw, the only one I really, really wanted not to smell me.....did! Oh well!
This deer's body is so large I may be under estimating his horns but I'm sure he grosses north of 160", possibly even gross B & C. He has about a 5" fork in his g-2 on the right. 7" brows, 12 to 13" 2's & 3's, heavy mass and beams that almost cross in the front.
He is not nearly the largest deer I have seen on the lease horn wise but he is about as big as an 8pt gets. I would love to know his weigh!
4."Morgan Preparing for her First Youth Turkey Hunt"
This is a little video clip of my daughter Morgan shooting a shotgun for the first time to get ready to participate in a youth turkey hunt here in florida.
